The Chicklets are more than happy to announce their first support for the 2017 season. Chelsea Robinson from the Walkerville Cats in Adelaide (SA) has been member of the Aussie Pride team in 2015 and a winner of the U19 National Championship. In 2016 she made the Australian Spirit squad- which is open women’s. This year, they are doing it differently where she has made the all star team, and will be playing against Japan, New Zealand and the Aussie Spirit next week in Sydney. The All-star team is being known as „identified pathway players“ so hopefully couple more years she’ll be in the Australian team, it’s like a stepping stone 😉
Chelsea will strenghten our team as a catcher and shortstop. She will also be part of the coaching staff and take care of our younger kids in the CC2 team. Can´t wait to see her in a Chicklets uniform! Go Chelsea!!!
„Couldn’t be happier with softball being able to take me around the world, looking forward to meeting all the girls, they have already been very welcoming and I’m still on the other side of the globe! Very grateful of the opportunity and am hoping to learn, and gain lots of experience, and give back where I can. I can alread
y tell how committed the Crazy Chicklets are towards their club and I can’t wait to be included in their culture. 2 months and 24 days till travel day, very excited!“ – Chelsea
Also, if you follow softball SA’s Facebook page you may be able to see her play in a couple of highlight videos
